FinAbility Named Impact Award Winner by ninety-nine girlfriends

We’re thrilled to share that FinAbility has been named a 2024 Impact Award winner by ninety-nine girlfriends, a collective of Portland Metro and SW Washington women dedicated to community impact through philanthropy and collaborative learning. As one of four organizations recognized with a $65,000 grant, FinAbility is honored to join this inspiring community of local nonprofits working toward a more equitable and resilient future.

FinAbility was awarded in the new Women’s Economic Empowerment category in recognition of our work to financially empower survivors of domestic abuse. This award not only supports our efforts but also affirms the importance of financial autonomy for survivors seeking to reclaim their independence. We’re grateful to be recognized by ninety-nine girlfriends, whose commitment to responsive and trust-based philanthropy amplifies the work of organizations addressing our community’s most urgent needs.

We’re honored to be in the company of fellow award recipients ELSO Inc., Working Theory Farm, and Path Home. Thank you to the 300+ women and gender-fluid individuals who make up this incredible collective. Your belief in our work fuels our determination to dream bigger and continue our journey toward a safer, more equitable future.
